14k gold ring markings
Marked inside the ring of antiquity?
Recently found an engagement ring for my mother. Marked inside D-14K FR. I think that means 14K gold 14K, but not sure what that means D or FR. It was purchased in Indianapolis so I do not know if this could be the initials of jewelry or something. Does anyone have any idea? Willing to sell, just a lot of sentimental value.Thanks,
The 14K-D could average 14 carats of diamonds, and P. could be one of the following: name of the store, the initials of her betrothed, or a code for saying they had together … I hope helped! M
